Buyer beware... It's a beautiful thing, but as a portable device it just don't work. Half the time it won't connect to WiFi at all, the rest of the time it drops the WiFi and refuses to reconnect without a very great deal of messing about. Disappointed Good product design but welding mark on docking unit. Sound is not very loud, with some devices, although the quality of sound is good. Radio station cannot be stored although it states it can be and unfortunately the buttons on remote are hard to press. It does charge your IPhone though. Bought this Laptop for the good i5 processor speed, massive 8Gb RAM, and storage capacity (1 TB HDD).

Laptop feels sturdy but light weight with a great keyboard and touch pad. Battery life is good and is definately an upgrade from my old Toshiba laptop.

The spec on the Amazon website is exact except for under the product description, which appears to be copied from the Samusung website and lists there is a Nvidia GeForce 540M dedicated graphics card. This is not the case for this model number (NP-RF511-A01UK). Graphics is handled by the onboard Intel HD Graphics 3000. But this is still more than enough for playing DVD's and doing eveyday computer use without slowing the computer down. If you want to play high end games you might need to look elsewhere............

I bought this laptop a few days ago to replace an old one which had developed a fatal problem with its motherboard which was beyond economical repair. On the whole I'm pleased with it. It seems to be well-designed (with one annoying exception - see below) and is reasonably fast.

Pros

- All the sockets (3xUSB, HDMI, VGA, SD/SDHC, power, mic, line-out/headphone) are on the side and the internal mic is on the top, below the keyboard and to the left of the mouse touchpad. Consequently nothing is obscured by your body when you are using it on your lap - unlike the HP/Compaq laptop that I had before where my body covered the mike :-(

- The lights for power, hard disc, wireless, caps lock, battery charging are below the touchpad, so they are not in the direct line of sight when you are using the laptop, but they are visible if you need to refer to them, and they can be seen (just!) with the lid closed to check when charging has finished (the LED changes colour).

- The keys of the keyboard (though not the mouse buttons) are quiet, with a very slightly cushioned feel as they hit the end stop...................
