Review ARCHOS 10.1 16 GB Internet Tablet

360 degree Archos 101 review
I have been using Archos 101 for a month and I thought my experience might be useful for the other Amazon visitors. Before Archos 101 product, I had a chance of using iPad and Samsung Galaxy tab - which are our test tablets for the applications we developed. All tablet devices have their own pros and cons, I think as a buyer you are the one who know your needs best and...

Good product albeit with design flaws
I had high expectations from the Archos 101 from the many reviews on CNET and other review sites. When I finally got my hands on one of these, I was happy with the device in general, but was there were some issues which I could not accept and hence with a heavy heart I returned the item back last week.

The following are + and - of this device:

Review Arnova 7b G2 7 inch Dual Touch Android Tablet

I sent two questions, using the special form found at Arnova's site. The first time I asked if the device supports srt and they answered that it DOESN'T. I found by myself and thanks to the great internet community that in fact it does. Unacceptable, giving wrong information for your own device. You can watch a video file with srt if you use a specific player.

The second time I asked if the device supports a Greek keyboard, since it supports Greek menu. It seems only logical that if you have the option to read the device menu in Greek (although I use English menus in my devices), you might want to write in that language also. I have sent two different questions and there is NO answer, after a month................

Review A1CS X220 TABLET 10.2" ANDROID 2.2, WIFI, MIFI, HDMI, 1080P, GPS WITH CAM

I did some serious research into the Tablet market before deciding to buy the A1CS X220 Android Tablet some ten days ago. It seemed to offer everything I wanted - book reader, internet, email, MP3 player, photo and video viewer, and at a price I was prepared to pay. And it has proved to do all these things and more - I really am pleased and impressed with this product. It is well built, comes with GPS aerial, and transformer with an 8 foot cable, making it easy to use well away from a power point. It is comfortable to hold, light enough to use in bed or in a chair, and I have also used it on a train. The battery lasts for at least three hours before it needs recharging and you can use it with the mains connected as well, although I prefer not too as the mains input cable could get in the way, get pulled and thus damaged. The tablet has three inputs, two USB and one Micro SD card which can take up to 32 Gig capacity....................

Review BlackBerry PlayBook - Tablet - 16 GB - 7" TFT ( 1024 x 600 ) - rear camera + front camera - Wi-Fi, Bluetooth

GREAT TABLET
I am going to keep this short. I am 60 years old and this is my first tablet,I own a high end laptop so know my way around without being an expert. This Playbook is an excellent product, after two days use I am very pleased with it. Set up was fine and was achieved with a free phone call to excellent Blackberry support. I have transferred 800 songs at 128 onto it from...

3.0 out of 5 stars Take a tablet and call me in the morning
The Blackberry Playbook is a neat little thing. Fits right in the inside pocket of at least some of my jackets. It has a smaller screen than most of its competitors, but the picture is bright and clear. The swipe interface menu takes some getting used to but it is ok. I hope subsequent software upgrades make this a bit smoother. It's not quite as easy to do as the I...

Very capable but unpolished...
Bought this in America after a long wait. I have a BB Torch and was looking forward to email sync without a 3G contract.

I wanted a device that would allow drag and drop file transfer, ability to view PDF, PPT, Word and XL documents - it's not really a tool to edit these, but viewing on the superb screen is great. I wanted a better web experience than with the...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not for me
Originally I thought this sounded great. All the reviews made it sound perfect, however, the screen is too small for me - I ended up with a headache for two days straight! And, it is very complicated to set up and get started unless you know exactly what you're doing.

Also, unless my friends get a playbook each, video chatting with them almost impossible -...

The future is bright if the Playbook is a sign of times to come
First a quick shot of context. I work with technology and test products for business suitability. I love Android for its open standards and I like IOS as an innovative technology despite disliking its proprietary stance. Both struggle as viable everyday business tools.

In the last years I have become increasingly disenchanted with RIM, the manufacturers of...

2.0 out of 5 stars Looks good but......
I have now spent a week with the new playbook and am liking it less and less.

It looks fantastic, the screen resolution is great and I don't find the size a problem.I even like the keyboard. Wifi internet connection is fine and reasonably fast.I like the idea that it bridges with your Blackberry phone and therefore you are working off a single SIM card...

Review Creative ZiiO 7-inch 8 GB Android Entertainment Tablet by Creative Labs

Recently added firmware update makes this a good buy
The latest firmware update allows users of this tablet to use Skype (you need to download this free from a site on the web which Amazon will not let me name but the URL can be obtained from Norbert at Creative's Dublin help line. This adds to what is a very good tablet for the money. It has good audio and video attributes and is solidly constructed. The screen although...

3.0 out of 5 stars Well built let down by poor software
I bought this because I was looking at a Kindle but wanted a bit more out of a tablet. I don't like Apple' restrictive approach to Apps and over priced hardware, and because I usually like Creative products I went for the Ziio.
As I expected, the hardware build quality is up to Creative's usual standard as is the leather case. Problems are with the operating system...

Review Creative Inspire T10 Multimedia Speakers

Rock 'n' Roll !
I agree with all the previous reviewers comments. Here's my experience of the T10's. I wanted some small reletivly inexpensive pc speakers so that I could listen to radio and music from my pc in the kitchen but as I like my music I did not want them to sound rubbish. I was very reluctant to purchase a pair of speakers without actually hearing them first. But I did quite a...

Spoilt by annoying detail...
These speakers are fine for the price and I've always had a high regard for Creative products and considered it worth paying a bit more for reliability and build quality. However, my disappointment with these speakers is not to do with their audio performance but, as a powered product designed to work with a computer, they have included a power adapter that is so wide it...

Good price, great quality
I wanted some new speakers for laptop, as my inhouse speakers were starting to fade and crackle. I was originally going to settle on the Logitech x210 speakers which my friend has and which I really liked. As all friends do, I wanted to get one better than his. After looking at the logitech brands the z323 and z523 were said to be very poor and for the price, not worth...

3.0 out of 5 stars clear brilliant sound
I didn't know if i should buy these speakers, but now i am glad i did.

They look briliant, they were easy to set up, and the sound quality was better than my friends £500 bose speakers, the bass is incredible, all for under £50.

I would say they are best for drum and bass, but all other audio is very clear and just as good.

A few complains...

This tablet is excellent, I have one of the 'New' Ipads and needed a simple to use tablet for my dad. To be honest was a little nervous going for this one but it exceeded my expectations. I liked it so much i ended taking it with me when i went traveling. It does everything you'd expect and more, runs all the applications fast and cleanly. Great Screen resolution, essentially does everything 96% of people want from an ipad but at a much lower cost. All the apps i use daily on the Ipad were on the android store. Can't say enough good things about it! Went far beyond my expectations..................

Review Disgo Tablet 6000 Touch Screen Tablet (1GHz, Android 2.2)

Not Bad For The Price!
Well I looked and looked for info on this tablet to find absolutely nothing. Even the web reviews were carbon copy from one site to the next.

So I took the plunge, was a little upset that the first one I received from Amazon was an opened, used and returned tablet. However I used the online call me page and immediately received a call, the service operator was...

A good start for a cheap Android tablet...
Some information you should know before buying this:

- the Android OS version is 2.1 and, according to the manufacturer, won't get updated to 2.2. What does that imply? Well it means that you won't get the advantage of the 2.2 update, including the Flash support. Of course you can view some videos (mobile version of You Tube), but don't expect to watch the BBC...
