Reviews Apple iPod touch 32GB - Black - 4th Generation (Launched Sept 2010)

Way, way exceeded my expectations
I have been bowled over by this little device.

I bought it thinking that it would be a good replacement iPod for my ancient model, with a bit of mobile browsing thrown in - very useful as I didn't want to be chained to my laptop.

But the iPod Touch turned out to be so, so much more than this. It takes a generational leap forward in gadgetry,...

*Update 15/05/12 It's not been long over a year and a half and my iPod has given up the ghost! One day it was fine and the next I get a battery graphic with a thin red bar indicating it's too low on power and needs charging. But it was in one of my speaker docks on charge when this happened which was odd. So I used the apple sync lead and tried charging it via my pc's...

Review Xbox 360 320GB Star Wars Kinect Console with Kinect Star Wars - Limited Edition (Xbox 360)

Thursday 24 May 2012 | 0 comments

The Force is strong with this one.
As a keen Xbox gamer and a Star Wars fan, this was a must-have for me. I have to say I wasn't disappointed. What you get is, basically, a slim Xbox 360 with a custom paint job, custom power up/down and disc eject/close sounds, a 320Gb HDD and a blue power light. Also included is a gold C-3PO themed controller, (which is very nice, but shows fingerprints really badly so...

Great console but...
I have had two of these consoles, both of which developed a problem whilst setting up for the first time. When running the required update for Xbox Live something went wrong and the consoles were left not recognising they had built in wireless wifi. When you try to connect wirelessly after this a message appears to connect a wireless adapter. I have contacted Microsoft...

Stunning graphics and very easy to set up!
I must first say that I am NOT a gamer and until recently had no interest in playing games through my TV. Have always stuck to chess on my PC. Having watched my son play a few games on his bedroom "machine" (not sure what he has got!) I decided to take the plunge. At 50 I wish I had taken the plunge sooner!! The graphics on the games are simply amazing and it would..

Disappointed
Bought this a few days ago,two major problems - it's very noisy, can easily hear it over 20ft away also it will not connect to my wireless network even though when it scans it can find it,I have many other products from Logitech,Apple,Dell and a Kindle all connect to my network with no problems

Fragfx shark review
Okay, so been playing with it for a few days now, I am not really used to a mouse but I wanted to see if I could improve my accuracy and it works!!! I am on my target faster than I could normally be with a controller, (which says something because I am really good with a controller). I think anyone who is good with a mouse to begin with would blow controller based...

Buying your way to playing better
This is essentially buying the ability to out play people who play using controllers (you know, the way you're supposed to). No different from buying a modded controller.

If you want to play FPS games with a mouse do it on a PC where it will at least be even playing ground. This is just sad.

Review GameOn HDMI 2m Cable - Black (Xbox 360/PS3)

I have previously purchased 2 gameon hdmi cables and needed another. This is not the same item. It arrived in a grey bag without any packaging, the previous ones were in a blister pack and there was no paperwork with it at all which is very unusual. The cable itself is different to the originals which have a fabric covering. That said, it works. I bought it to hook my ipad 2 up to my hd tv and it does that. I cannot comment on how well it would work with a gamestation as haven't tried it with those but the originals are brilliant with both our ps3 and xbox 360. So, not as described but does do the job.

good value,good ratio quality/price
I just got this laptop and I'm a kind of testing it now, it's good for the price.

You get a large and bright screen with a good resolution,

It has good speaker quality, the speakers won't go too high but good sound.

It can read pro duo,sd, xd and more cards

It doesn't have bluetooth

It has four usb ports, which is...

okay but not brilliant
CHOSE THIS MODEL AS I ALREADY HAVE AN EARLIER MODEL AND HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THAT. THIS ONE IS NOT COMING UP TO STANDARD YET. IT IS EARLY DAYS AS IT DOES TAKE SOMETIME TO GET TO GRIPS WITH A NEW LAPTOP. THE SPEAKERS ARE A DISAPPOINTMENT AND I AM GOING TO HAVE TO BUY SOME EXTERNAL SPEAKES
LAYOUT OF KEYBOARD IS FINE BATTERY LIFE GOOD
WOULD I BUY ANOTHER...

Super Value Purchase
We bought this laptop for our second year university student daughter. She had a Toshiba machine previously and this one was to replace what had been a fantastic laptop. This new one has a in no way disappointed. It's fast, easy to set up and easy to use. It also has some new features that older Toshiba's didnt have and they are good too. Great price point for what you...

don't buy it
This laptop is not as good as I exopected.
Despite the good CPU this laptop is slow because the disk and the graphic card are slow and they slow the whole laptop down.
The pad mouse is not in the center and it is in a not natural position.
Battery life is ok.
There is only 2 USB and they are so close to each other that when you use an Internet USB...

Review Samsung RV520 15.6 inch Laptop - Silver

Fast, But Some Annoying Features
Before buying this machine I compared Acer, Lenovo, Dell and HP. I bought the Samsung primarily because it offered an excellent processor speed (new gen i3) an Island keyboard, DHMI port and several other features I wanted, speed being the most important.

Overall, I believe this machine is excellent value for money and has been performing exceptionally well...

Generally I have been ok with the product, but I feel it suffers from a couple of drawbacks that would cause me to hesitate to recommend it.

Pros:
1. big screen
2. cost
3. performance for price tag
4. looks good

Cons:
1. Keyboard is uncomfortable to work on, especially when not on a desk, but rather in your lap
2...

I got this phone a few weeks ago because my smartphone had too many quirks and I have several months before I can upgrade. It works great for phone calls. Answering and disconnecting calls is so easy to do, no sliding like with the android. But as far as texting it is not the best. I like larger buttons and that is why I wanted a slide out keyboard. But the buttons are too small to easily text. I also noticed that the screen is not as sensitive to touch as it should be. Trying to get something on the screen to move or work can be frustrating because it takes some effort to manipulate, move, whatever. The battery is not as bad as some reviewers have stated. It lasts a couple of days with normal use. It is NOT a smartphone so don't expect it to be. But, all-in-all, I give it a B overall.
