This is an amazing machine for the price. The only downside upon receipt was the specs stating no Bluetooth.

But that aside (as I don't use bluetooth) this machine is quiet, fast and set-up is done in a matter of minutes.

I did remove some of the pre-installed software as it was never going to get used. The wi-fi is far more stable than on my previous laptop and holds the connection well even on a weak signal, and the card reader is neatly tuck away out of harms way. The keyboard layout is a little strange at first but I soon got used to it..................

If you try and open its lid only using your left hand , then the LCD is going to break down because of its cheap material and bad design and because they count that as 'physical damage' they don't cover it on their one year warranty period. Great Notebook/Laptop (please note there is NO Bluetooth as stated in the description). The Packard Bell NX.BWTEK.004 EasyNote TS is in fact the TS44-HR-185UK. I was after the i3-2350 processor as its a better/newer processor than the i3-350 etc you get. I also got mine of Amazon Warehouse for a grand price of £290.00. It came in perfect condition. NOT a mark/scratch the rubber feet were not even scuffed. The screen etc had clear plastic protective wrapping on it and when turned on windows 7 started up with a "This is windows 7 first start-up" screen. So from my experience I would recommend trying there first. All in all great laptop and Amazon warehouse.....................

I bought this laptop as my old trusty toshiba decided enough was enough. After reading reviews and specifications i gave it a go. I am not disappointed as it suits my needs. The wife uses it too to catch up on tv, the only let down comes there, the speaker quality is not the best , it sounds quite 'tinny' . Even after playing with the settings I can not get it to be at an adequate level (for me) . Speed wise it is great, I am not fond of windows 7 but have stuck with it so far. This is a very small, cheap and stylish looking PC. I bought it because I found it aesthetically more pleasant than the other nettops I could find around. The plus is that it has more RAM and larger storage space then most competitors in the same price range.
Do not expect great performance, with an Atom CPU and relatively slow disk is designed for low power consumption and small size, rather then performance. On some tasks my 6 years old Pentium 4 is still better, but this one occupies 1/40 of the volume on my desk and is much more silent.
It is perfect for e-mail, running office application and multimedia, if video is stored locally. I also run with an X-server without any problem. Not that good for video streaming: on the same network connection my older pentium laptop gives a much more fluid rendering than this PC..................

Brilliant! I had done a huge amount of research before I bought this item. It was listed best laptop under £500 from a few websites. The speed in this laptop is incredible and the quality is also very good.I like to watch movies, play games and upload stuff which was so easy with this laptop. Also great battery life - over 5 hours. The only bad thing is that smudge marks do appear on the back of the laptop but this does not bother me because I do not use this laptop as a fashion accessory........................
